The company began in 1977, when founder Mirza Mehar Din established a small engineering and fabrication workshop in Multan, supplying precision spare parts and equipment for the edible oil industry. Over the decades, Mehrose evolved from producing mechanical components to designing, fabricating and commissioning complete turnkey plants — seed preparation systems, solvent extraction plants, edible oil refining units and bulk oil storage facilities.

Company Journey
Founded in Multan
Established by Mirza Mehar Din as Mughal & Sons, manufacturing oil seed expeller parts and cotton ginning equipment.
Expellers & seed preparation
Expanded into full-scale oil expeller production, seed preparation systems, cottonseed processing and oil storage tank fabrication under Mirza Faqeer & Jan Muhammad (Mehar & Sons).
Delinting & solvent extraction
Launched manufacturing of delinting and decorticator systems (Mehrose Engineering) and entered solvent extraction technology, marking a significant diversification of capabilities.
Large-scale plants
Ventured into GCP units, vegetable ghee & cooking oil refineries and lubricant plants. Mirza Mumtaz Ahmed joined the company, strengthening its technical leadership.
International reach
Exports to Uganda, Africa — cooking oil refineries, delinting units, solvent extraction plants, dewaxing, winterization and crystallization systems, alongside multiple nationwide projects.
Energy & infrastructure
Trusted supplier for PSO fuel storage tanks and canopies, nationwide extraction plant installations and specialized projects including PARCO shutdowns and biodiesel refinery erections.
MM Engineering Associates
With Mirza Zubair Mumtaz joining leadership, expanded into heavy steel fabrication and industrial plant erection across Multan, Lahore and Islamabad, with continued nationwide supply of extraction plants.
